Top 5 shoujo manga

Ohai! I know you missed me! Or not so much. I decided to write in English for a change, or probably, for the sake of this article getting red in an understandable language. Nor that Bulgarian is not good enough...I'm just in a different mood. So now...let us begin with this first "top....whatever-you-would-like"chart. This is going to be the most subjective top 5 you've ever seen. That I promise ;)
So here goes nothing - my top 5 sentimental, lovey-dovey, most dear shoujo manga. Let's make it clear - there's no smut in this list, only romantic (or not so much) shoujo.

Good Morning Call
I know, I know! This is not the best art we've seen, BUT! There's always a "but"! Why would I choose this to be my No:5 if there was no reason. Oh come on, I just couldn't resist putting this manga in the list. It's relatively old - finished in 2002 but it's sequel - Good morning kiss is currently publishing. So why do we have this here? Ah, yes - it's because of the memorable phrase: "I've lost to a pudding and a computer"!!!! How true!!! I know this is not the best manga, but the overall sweet feeling you get while reading is something you don't want to miss. This story was about the main hero and heroine living together in an apartment and..guess what...I bet you can't guess :P Overall 7/10...

Kimi ni Todoke
Ok. Let's face it - this is just so cliché - the main heroine is dark and everyone is scared of her (and we've seen that already in The Wallflower). But then prince charming enters the scene and the little girl becomes popular. Oh....should I label this as "boring"? Yes, some chapters could kill you with "sentimental" slime drooling all over you as you read, but after all - why would you read it if you don't like such stuff in the first place? So why is this so damn popular manga, getting the 4th of this list? It's because it's too predictable. Not very interesting in my opinion, not original either. But there is something about it, that's making me read it - it's art is like 9/10 or something, and the main hero - Kazehaya - I cannot stop laughing every time he fusses over something that Sawako does. I've also seen the two seasons of the anime, but I couldn't get over the feeling of this story being too slow - that's why my overall is 8/10.

Dengeki Daisy
This one kept me reading it all night long, till 4am. I wouldn't say it's perfect, though it's not so popular for no reason. Is it because of the love story? Nope - it's nothing special, quite boring actually (not as much as the previous one, yet nothing different or interesting). Then is it the art? The art's good over 8 points, let's put our hand's up for the bishi! Then what's making this one good? It's probably the idea/dream of every little girl - to be protected by someone. Of course, this "someone" has to be a hot bishi, somehow falling in love with her plain self. Actually, I love this story, probably because of the bad-ass main character (me being all impressed over the name of "daisy") but there's nothing else that I would like to share. Just go read it, for God's sake, my overall is 9/10.

Kaichou wa Maid-sama!
Oh, of course this would be here. It's the perfect shoujo - the main heroine is a tsundere and the main hero - rich genius. It's just the perfect dose of feminism, fan service, classical shoujo stuff and love story. But I've chosen this manga for No: 2 mainly because of the strong main character. I mean, Misaki is not your everyday shoujo heroine - being all protected by the hero. She is a tsundere, but she's strong on her own. A good example for all of us, if you ask me ^.^~ And then - we have Usui, who is....umm....how should I put this ....he's an "pervert alien". Being more "alien" than "perverted". So I would give this one 9/10, because it lacks something in the story. The "love" part of the manga is quite slow on the development and a little bit poor. Hey, all the fans want to see more lovey-dovey scenes! Overall 9/10

Koko ni Iru yo!
This is probably the most boring, sentimental and cliché manga that I've ever read and I still LOVE it! I love all of Ema-seinsei's manga, but this one...is just so cute and sweet and....it's like a muffin covered with cream and filled with little pieces of chocolate and hazelnuts and....whatever...just ignore any other random stuff I say....it's irrelevant. So, what do we have here? It's the poor little main heroine being all bullied and lonely. The only thing she has is her blog and her two net-friends that just happened to be bishies. And then we have the usual love story and so on...Nothing interesting or unusual, just go and read it, check for yourself. But to be honest - reading this is going to feel like eating sugar cubes. I bet you understand me. Over all 10/10 for the great art and feeling that it gives. Sugar cubes...om-nom-nom @.@

So thanks for reading, leave a comment or a shoujo for me to read, because, honestly....I am bored to death of everything I read....It's a cruel shoujo world we live in -____-''''
