Quick manga preview of the week

Okay, so here we have a list of the manga I have my eyes on and that I would like to read and comment on. I prefer to write the reviews after reading all translated chapters - to be "up to date" so to say, but anyway....Let's make a quick preview of these 3 and see if they're worth reading forward.

Song of the doll ( 인형歌 ) by Sun-Young Lee  

So far the manhwa is interesting. The story is about a girl named Lee Woo-hee who was found under a plum tree and could remember nothing but a man telling her that until the day they meet again, she will be reborn. Not the most original story I've read, but it has this vague felling of sadness. Might be the art that makes that impression - it's beautiful and detailed. At the end of chapter 1, the main hero tells our heroine that she will die in 15 days, but we can already guess who the doll is anyway. I am not particularly interested in this mahwa, it's just a random shoujo I picked while browsing on some manga sites, but I will continue reading it.

Freesia ( フリージア) by Matsumoto Jiro

 

The story is a quite grotesque representation of the Japanese society. The main protagonist has a twisted and complicated character, he's calm and a "zebra", apparently a weapon specialist or a killer. For 6 chapters I had quite enough of sex scenes in this manga! And I hate it just because of that - I expected to read a seinen about killing people (you know, with tons of blood and stuff like that) but instead I get an opening scene of something like rape o.O'''. I'm probably going to finish this manga when I'm in the right mood - a bad mood to be exact. 

Mother Keeper ( マーザキーパー) by Sorano Kairi

 

 Worth reading? So far - not really. It's the throbbing story of a young boy and his little sister, who live outside of the perfect world of EDEN - they live in the desert-like after-war Earth. Oh, man, I'm going to cry >>""" This plot is so original, I've never seen anything like it. -___-''' The art is Ok. It's not something amazing, but I guess it's not all that bad. I don't expect much of the rest of the manga, but I would continue reading. I want to see how the main bishie character kicks some ass :P .
